Blitz Reviews...Full reviews coming soon.

Doubt. Great Script. Great Casting. The title tells you how you will be left feeling at the end. Standout performance is Viola Davis.

The Wrestler. Crappy-ass film until the moment it ends and then you realize you seen something spectacular. Mickey Rourke capture the has-been who hasn't completely given up his prior glory perfectly even though his Ram is a rathe tragic character.

Rachel Getting Married. Emotional rollercoster. Do not see if PMSing. You will need plenty of kleenex on a good day. Anne Hathaway gives an amazing performance.

Frost/Nixon. Very liberal slant, especially amongst the secondary characters. The film's strength lies in the actors portraying Frost and Nixon and the complex relationship they share. Artistically this is one of my favs.

The Reader. Nipples. Really big nipples and aereolas. Hairy pits. A man mane that needs some massive trimming. There is a plot though. Winslett does an amazing job as the former SS Guard. The physicality of the chracter is amazing...until the clothes come off. I guess sex with a stiff and awkward moving German woma is not cinematically appealing.

Milk. Wow. Strong film in every aspect. Sean Penn (not a fave of mine) is incredible as Harvey milk.

Slumdog Millionaire. The hype cannot begin to express how outstanding this film is. Until I saw this one I was torn between Frost/Nixon and Milk as the most deserving of awards. I'm solidly supporting Slumdog now.
